If you suspect you didn’t receive exactly what you paid for, you can request an audit from EthicaMed for a one-off administration charge of £50. If the business is in our database, they have already agreed to allow us to verify your transaction.
What do I do if I suspect I didn’t receive what I paid for?
If the business is listed on EthicaMed, you can contact us to request a verification. Since they’ve already agreed to transparency, we can check whether they’ve upheld their commitment.
What if EthicaMed finds a discrepancy?
If we discover a financial discrepancy, we will ask the business to either correct the mistake or refund the difference to the customer. In addition, the business will be temporarily removed from our database until we conduct a thorough audit to ensure that the issue was a one-off error and that financial honesty is being upheld.
Does EthicaMed handle complaints about service quality?
No. We strictly focus on financial honesty whether customers received exactly what they paid for. We do not intervene in disputes about customer service, treatment quality, or pricing.

Businesses pay a yearly fee of £895 to be included in our database. In return, they receive official EthicaMed approval, allowing them to proudly display our logo on their marketing materials and Display a Physical Cerification/ Plaque in store. This showcases their commitment to financial honesty, transparency, and integrity helping them stand out as a trusted business in their industry.
What are the benefits of joining EthicaMed?
Being listed on EthicaMed signals to customers that your business values transparency, trust, and ethical financial practices. It sets you apart from competitors who may not be as forthcoming.
Does EthicaMed control my pricing?
No. EthicaMed does not regulate or question how much you charge. We focus solely on ensuring that customers receive the exact products or services they paid for.

Absolutely not. While businesses may provide invoices for auditing purposes, we never disclose private financial information, including revenue or profits/losses.
What happens if my business fails an audit?
If an audit reveals discrepancies, businesses will be given an opportunity to correct the issue. Consistent failure to uphold financial honesty may result in removal from the EthicaMed database.
Can businesses leave EthicaMed at any time?
